    {
      "q": "How big are the classes?",
      "a": "Class sizes in Indian K-12 schools usually fall in the 25–40 student range. Premium IB/IGCSE schools often cap sections at 22–25."
    },
    {
      "q": "When does the school want the joining date to be?",
      "a": "Most school roles aim for a joining around the start of the next academic month or term. Once shortlisted, the school will agree a realistic date based on your notice period."
    },
    {
      "q": "Can I negotiate the salary at City Convent School Bazpur?",
      "a": "Most schools have a defined band per role but the final number is negotiable within it. The strongest levers are recent teaching experience, board expertise, and willingness to take on coordinator/extra-curricular responsibilities."
    },
    {
      "q": "What is the average PGT Biology salary in Udham Singh Nagar?",
      "a": "Check the \"Salary snapshot\" section above for the entry / typical / senior band tailored to PGT Biology roles in Udham Singh Nagar. City tier and board affiliation move the number materially — IB and Cambridge schools sit at the top of the range, state-board private schools at the base."
    },
    {
      "q": "What is the salary for this PGT Biology role?",
      "a": "The salary band is shown in the \"Key facts\" panel above. Final offers depend on your years of experience, qualifications and the interview outcome."

    },
    {
      "q": "Is there a probation period?",
      "a": "Yes — a 3 to 6 month probation is standard in K-12 schools across India. Benefits like PF and gratuity continue to accrue from day one regardless."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is English fluency required?",
      "a": "Bilingual fluency (English + regional language) is typically expected at state-board schools, especially for lower grades. Senior-secondary subject roles lean more English-first."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is the salary CTC or in-hand?",
      "a": "Most Indian schools quote annual CTC. In-hand is lower than CTC once employee PF (12% of basic, capped at ₹15,000 basic/month), professional tax and — where applicable — income tax under the new regime are deducted. Plug the offered CTC into the in-hand salary calculator at /tools/in-hand-salary-calculator for a line-by-line breakdown against this job."
