  "faq": [
    {
      "q": "Is there a probation period?",
      "a": "Most schools run a 3–6 month probation with the same salary as confirmation. Confirmation is typically subject to satisfactory performance reviews and document verification."
    },
    {
      "q": "Can I negotiate the salary at Dehati High School?",
      "a": "Yes — the band shown is a starting point. Schools consider your last-drawn CTC, teaching experience, board expertise (state-board) and any specialist skills. Come prepared with a specific number and a 1-line justification."
    },
    {
      "q": "When does the school want the joining date to be?",
      "a": "Joining dates are usually negotiable around the school calendar. Mid-term joining is common for replacement vacancies; new positions often align to April or the start of the next term."
    },
    {
      "q": "Are detailed lesson plans expected?",
      "a": "Schools generally require lesson plans aligned to the syllabus and pacing calendar. Coordinators review them weekly or fortnightly."
    },
    {
      "q": "What is the average PGT Biology salary in Fatehabad?",
      "a": "Refer to the on-page \"Salary snapshot\" for the current market band. Broadly, PGT Biology pay in Fatehabad rises with years of experience, board (IB > CBSE > state), and school size — the linked full pay report breaks these out further."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is English fluency required?",
      "a": "Bilingual fluency (English + regional language) is typically expected at state-board schools, especially for lower grades. Senior-secondary subject roles lean more English-first."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is background verification done before joining?",
      "a": "Yes — most schools run document and reference verification, and many use third-party background checks. Keep your last 2–3 employer references and original certificates ready."
    },
    {
      "q": "How do I write an application email for this PGT Biology role?",
      "a": "A ready template with subject line, three-paragraph structure and attachment checklist (with a \"PGT Biology — Dehati High School\" subject-line example) is in the guide: /guides/teacher-application-letter."
    },
    {
      "q": "Do staff get fee concession for their children?",
      "a": "Many schools offer a tuition-fee concession for the children of full-time staff, subject to admission criteria and available seats. The appointment letter or the school's written HR policy is the authoritative source — confirm what applies before treating it as compensation."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is the salary CTC or in-hand?",
      "a": "Most Indian schools quote annual CTC. In-hand is lower than CTC once employee PF (12% of basic, capped at ₹15,000 basic/month), professional tax and — where applicable — income tax under the new regime are deducted. Plug the offered CTC into the in-hand salary calculator at /tools/in-hand-salary-calculator for a line-by-line breakdown against this job."
