    {
      "q": "Do I have to work weekends?",
      "a": "Standard week is Monday to Saturday (often half-day Saturday). Occasional event Sundays exist (Annual Day, Sports Day, admissions test days) and are usually compensated with a comp-off."
    },
    {
      "q": "What's the interview process like for this teaching role?",
      "a": "Most schools have 2–3 rounds: an HR call, a demo lesson, then a leadership interview. Be ready to walk through one of your lesson plans and how you handle classroom management."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is English fluency required?",
      "a": "Bilingual fluency (English + regional language) is typically expected at state-board schools, especially for lower grades. Senior-secondary subject roles lean more English-first."
    },
    {
      "q": "What non-teaching duties are expected?",
      "a": "Common non-teaching duties include exam invigilation, homework correction, parent-teacher meetings, one co-curricular activity, and being a homeroom/tutor-group mentor."
    },
    {
      "q": "What is the average PGT Biology salary in North East I?",
      "a": "Refer to the on-page \"Salary snapshot\" for the current market band. Broadly, PGT Biology pay in North East I rises with years of experience, board (IB > CBSE > state), and school size — the linked full pay report breaks these out further."
    },
    {
      "q": "How long does it take to hear back after applying?",
      "a": "Most schools review applications within 5–10 working days. If you don't hear back in two weeks, the role has usually been filled or paused — keep applying to similar openings in the meantime."
    },
    {
      "q": "How do I write an application email for this PGT Biology role?",
      "a": "A ready template with subject line, three-paragraph structure and attachment checklist (with a \"PGT Biology — Shibban Modern Public School, Vijay Colony Jagjeet Nagar New Usmanpur, Delhi\" subject-line example) is in the guide: /guides/teacher-application-letter."
    },
    {
      "q": "Which curriculum does the school follow?",
      "a": "Shibban Modern Public School, Vijay Colony Jagjeet Nagar New Usmanpur, Delhi follows the state-board curriculum, so teaching, assessment and reporting align to that framework."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is the salary CTC or in-hand?",
      "a": "Most Indian schools quote annual CTC. In-hand is lower than CTC once employee PF (12% of basic, capped at ₹15,000 basic/month), professional tax and — where applicable — income tax under the new regime are deducted. Plug the offered CTC into the in-hand salary calculator at /tools/in-hand-salary-calculator for a line-by-line breakdown against this job."
    },
    {
      "q": "How long after the interview until I get an offer letter?",
      "a": "Typically 3–7 working days after the final interview, once reference checks and internal approvals are done. Verbal confirmations sometimes come sooner — always wait for the written offer before resigning your current role."
