      "q": "What arrangements are there for women teachers' commute and safety?",
      "a": "Most reputable schools in Shopian run staff transport (bus or shared cab) covering the main residential clusters, with women-first drop after evening duties. On-campus, ICC (Internal Complaints Committee) compliance is standard. Confirm the route map and the last drop time during the interview."

    {
      "q": "How big are the classes?",
      "a": "Class sizes in Indian K-12 schools usually fall in the 25–40 student range. Premium IB/IGCSE schools often cap sections at 22–25."

    {
      "q": "How do I write an application email for this PGT Hindi role?",
      "a": "A ready template with subject line, three-paragraph structure and attachment checklist (with a \"PGT Hindi — Maktaba Hs Shopian\" subject-line example) is in the guide: /guides/teacher-application-letter."

      "q": "What is the average PGT Hindi salary in Shopian?",
      "a": "Check the \"Salary snapshot\" section above for the entry / typical / senior band tailored to PGT Hindi roles in Shopian. City tier and board affiliation move the number materially — IB and Cambridge schools sit at the top of the range, state-board private schools at the base."

      "q": "What's the interview process like for this teaching role?",

      "a": "Most school roles aim for a joining around the start of the next academic month or term. Once shortlisted, the school will agree a realistic date based on your notice period."
    },
    {
      "q": "How long does it take to hear back after applying?",
      "a": "Most schools review applications within 5–10 working days. If you don't hear back in two weeks, the role has usually been filled or paused — keep applying to similar openings in the meantime."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is the salary CTC or in-hand?",
      "a": "Most Indian schools quote annual CTC. In-hand is lower than CTC once employee PF (12% of basic, capped at ₹15,000 basic/month), professional tax and — where applicable — income tax under the new regime are deducted. Plug the offered CTC into the in-hand salary calculator at /tools/in-hand-salary-calculator for a line-by-line breakdown against this job."
