  "faq": [
    {
      "q": "Is the salary CTC or in-hand?",
      "a": "Most Indian schools quote annual CTC. In-hand is lower than CTC once employee PF (12% of basic, capped at ₹15,000 basic/month), professional tax and — where applicable — income tax under the new regime are deducted. Plug the offered CTC into the in-hand salary calculator at /tools/in-hand-salary-calculator for a line-by-line breakdown against this job."
    },
    {
      "q": "What is the average PGT Political Science salary in Agra?",
      "a": "Refer to the on-page \"Salary snapshot\" for the current market band. Broadly, PGT Political Science pay in Agra rises with years of experience, board (IB > CBSE > state), and school size — the linked full pay report breaks these out further."
    },
    {
      "q": "How long after the interview until I get an offer letter?",
      "a": "Typically 3–7 working days after the final interview, once reference checks and internal approvals are done. Verbal confirmations sometimes come sooner — always wait for the written offer before resigning your current role."
    },
    {
      "q": "Where can I find similar vacancies?",
      "a": "Scroll to the \"Similar jobs\" section below to see related openings. You can also browse by city (Agra), role and board on School Jobs India to compare options side by side."
    },
    {
      "q": "How will I know if my application is being reviewed?",
      "a": "Every status change (viewed, shortlisted, interview scheduled, offered) is pushed to your dashboard and email. Turn on job alerts for the same role in the same city so you don't lose momentum if this one pauses."
    },
    {
      "q": "What does a typical day look like?",
      "a": "Most teachers handle 4–6 instructional periods a day, with the rest going to lesson planning, assessment correction, and a co-curricular duty."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is background verification done before joining?",
      "a": "Yes — most schools run document and reference verification, and many use third-party background checks. Keep your last 2–3 employer references and original certificates ready."
    },
    {
      "q": "Can I negotiate the salary at Shri Jagdambha J.h.s. Tedi Bagia?",
      "a": "Yes — the band shown is a starting point. Schools consider your last-drawn CTC, teaching experience, board expertise and any specialist skills. Come prepared with a specific number and a 1-line justification."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is school transport available for staff?",
      "a": "Staff transport varies. Larger schools with their own fleet usually allow staff onboarding on existing routes; smaller schools may not run dedicated routes."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is there a probation period?",
      "a": "Most schools run a 3–6 month probation with the same salary as confirmation. Confirmation is typically subject to satisfactory performance reviews and document verification."
