  "faq": [
    {
      "q": "What is the leave policy?",
      "a": "Teaching staff typically get all school holidays plus 8–15 casual/sick leaves per academic year. Long vacations (summer, winter, Diwali, Holi breaks) follow the published school calendar."
    },
    {
      "q": "Where exactly is Shri Sidh DEV Choungar Inter College Galni located?",
      "a": "The school is in Nainital, Uttarakhand. Check the \"About the school\" section for the campus link and the nearest public-transport reference."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is accommodation provided?",
      "a": "Day schools generally don't provide accommodation. The school may help with referrals to nearby PGs or rentals during your relocation."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is English fluency required?",
      "a": "Yes — instruction is in English at most the school's schools. Comfortable English communication for classroom delivery and parent meetings is expected."
    },
    {
      "q": "What arrangements are there for women teachers' commute and safety?",
      "a": "Staff transport with defined pickup points, a women-first evening drop policy, CCTV coverage in corridors and staff areas, and an active Internal Complaints Committee are the norm at most established Indian schools. Ask HR for the specific route serving your locality."
    },
    {
      "q": "Will I get PF and statutory benefits?",
      "a": "Yes — established schools provide EPF (Provident Fund) and gratuity (after 5 years), and most also provide ESI for staff under the wage threshold. Specifics are spelled out in the offer letter."
    },
    {
      "q": "Do staff get fee concession for their children?",
      "a": "Many schools offer a tuition-fee concession for the children of full-time staff, subject to admission criteria and available seats. The appointment letter or the school's written HR policy is the authoritative source — confirm what applies before treating it as compensation."
    },
    {
      "q": "What is the average PGT Political Science salary in Nainital?",
      "a": "Refer to the on-page \"Salary snapshot\" for the current market band. Broadly, PGT Political Science pay in Nainital rises with years of experience, board (IB > CBSE > state), and school size — the linked full pay report breaks these out further."
    },
    {
      "q": "Is the salary CTC or in-hand?",
      "a": "Most Indian schools quote annual CTC. In-hand is lower than CTC once employee PF (12% of basic, capped at ₹15,000 basic/month), professional tax and — where applicable — income tax under the new regime are deducted. Plug the offered CTC into the in-hand salary calculator at /tools/in-hand-salary-calculator for a line-by-line breakdown against this job."
    },
    {
      "q": "What does a typical day look like?",
      "a": "Most teachers handle 4–6 instructional periods a day, with the rest going to lesson planning, assessment correction, and a co-curricular duty."
