Every rupee shown on this page is derived from a deterministic engine — the same inputs always produce the same output, with no randomness or network calls. The engine works in integer paise so nothing is lost to floating-point drift; the display rounds to whole rupees purely for readability.
Monthly cash flow is derived, not guessed. We compute the annual take-home first (gross salary minus income tax and cess, employee PF, and professional tax), then divide it across regular months. Bonus is treated as illustrative only — because employer-specific payroll treatment (retention clauses, deferred payout, marginal-slab TDS) varies, the calculator surfaces the annual bonus as its own line and does not blend it into the regular monthly figure.
The tax rules are FY 2026-27, new regime: ₹75,000 standard deduction, Section 87A rebate up to ₹60,000 for taxable income ≤ ₹12,00,000 with marginal relief above, slab-based tax on the remainder, and a 4% health & education cess on tax plus surcharge. Employee PF is 12% of basic, capped at a basic of ₹15,000 per month. Professional tax is a widely-applicable flat ₹2,400 per year — a state-average that a few states set slightly higher or waive entirely.
