<p>Abhinav Bharati Bal Mandir was established on 20th August ,1945 as the first Montessori House of children in Calcutta at the time by the untiring efforts of Late Gyanwati Lath.</p> <p>In 1989 it was upgraded to a secondary School upto class X. Senior Secondary dept was introduced in 1993 with Science , Commerce and Humanities. The school was affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).</p> <p>Abhinav Bharati High School 11, Pretoria Street is an English medium , private unaided Co-educational School affiliated to CBSE .The School has classes from Montessori to Class XII.</p> <p>The School focuses on holistic education for all round development of the child students of ABHS develop physically as well as mentally in a disciplined , homely atmosphere guided by Ms. Sraboni Samanta who has been the Principal since 2012.</p> <p>The School has a moderate fee structure yet provides all facilities for modern educational needs.</p>
