About Anglo Sanskrit Victoria Jubilee Senior Secondary School

The Sanskrit Vidyalaya – one of the first boys’ school in Delhi. It was started on the auspicious day of Basant Panchami in February 1869 in a residential house belonging to Rai Saheb  Lala Chhunna Mal at Bagh Diwar, near Katra Neel in Chandni Chowk with 62 boys and three teachers and Lala Ramjas Rai as the first Head Master.
