<p>The ICSE Syllabus (Indian Certificate for Secondary Education) is available from Pre &ndash; KG to Class 10th ( X Std). ICSE is conducted by a board, CISCE or the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination.It is similar to AISSE conducted by CBSE. An offshoot of the Cambridge IGCSE that existed during the British regime was taken over by the Anglo-Indian Board and is now governed by the &lsquo;Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations&rsquo;.ICSE has taken in a lot of structures from the NCERT. It has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986 (India), through the medium of English. It was affiliated to French Board of Examination before 1986.</p>
