He was not only a great spiritual leader but also modern India's most popular icon. Vivekananda exhorted the young to 'arise' and 'awake' and to reject all doctrines and dogmas that were based on superstition and prejudice. Going by this call, the motto and emblem of our institution is<br /> "Arise, Awake and Stop not till the Goal is achieved.</p>
