Role: Visual Arts Teacher
We are hiring an experienced Visual Arts Teacher to join our team for the upcoming academic session. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the State Board curriculum, mentor students, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet curriculum standards and engage every learner
- Assess, record and report on student progress using both formative and summative tools
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership
- Participate in CCAs, parent–teacher meetings and professional-development sessions
Qualifications
- Post-graduate / graduate degree in the relevant subject
- B.Ed. (or equivalent teaching qualification) preferred
- Prior teaching experience in a reputable school
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills
- Comfortable with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms

About Carmel Convent High School
<p>Carmel Convent High School Badlapur was founded on 26th June 1990 by the sisters of the congregation of Mother of Carmel (CMC). CMC is the first women indigenous congregation of India founded in Kerala in the year 1866 by Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara. It is a religious and charitable association of a Religious minority congregation. Its main apostolate is Education aiming at the overall integral development of the women and children.
