Overview

This leaves little scope for students, who have early awareness and interest in specific fields, to pursue specialisations of their choice. Additionally, the current education system puts little emphasis on aligning the curriculum and assessment with higher education and industry requirements. Therefore, the Delhi government envisioned a new set of schools that would create a new hallmark of secondary education.
