Role: Accountant
We are hiring an experienced Accountant to join our team for the upcoming academic session. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CISCE curriculum, mentor students, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet curriculum standards and engage every learner
- Assess, record and report on student progress using both formative and summative tools
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership
- Participate in CCAs, parent–teacher meetings and professional-development sessions
Qualifications
- Post-graduate / graduate degree in the relevant subject
- B.Ed. (or equivalent teaching qualification) preferred
- Prior teaching experience in a reputable school
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills
- Comfortable with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms

About Dr. Mar Theophilus School
<p>His Grace Dr. Philipose Mar Theophilus relied on legal framework rather than loose–knit ideas. One good example is that he registered Charitable Trusts, to promote education and relief work among the sick, the poor and the victims of natural calamities. One such Trust is the Malankara Orthodox Church Council of Bombay (MOCCB) which in later years promoted many educational institutions. When His Grace constituted MOCCB there was only one school in the Diocese i.e. St. Thomas School at Kalyan .Today, after three decades of the formation of Bombay Diocese, MOCCB has become a great educational hub running several schools and junior Colleges in Maharashtra and Gujarat. The first of the schools established by His Grace, St. Mary’s Multipurpose School, holds its sway in Navi Mumbai as the topmost educational institution with about 6500 students on the roll. Yet this institution refuses to accept failure of even a single student at Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations.</p>
