Role: Vice Principal
We are hiring an experienced Vice Principal to join our team for the upcoming academic session. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the State Board curriculum, mentor students, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet curriculum standards and engage every learner
- Assess, record and report on student progress using both formative and summative tools
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership
- Participate in CCAs, parent–teacher meetings and professional-development sessions
Qualifications
- Post-graduate / graduate degree in the relevant subject
- B.Ed. (or equivalent teaching qualification) preferred
- Prior teaching experience in a reputable school
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills
- Comfortable with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms

About Durgadevi Saraf Junior College
<p>DurgadeviSaraf Junior College was established in 1975. The College is named after Late Smt. DurgadeviSaraf, mother of Shri Mahavirprasad G. Saraf, the main donor of the College. The College completes 45years of its glorious existence, imparting value – based education to around 3750 students in preparing them for Higher Secondary Certificate Examination of Maharashtra Board. The College is a linguistic minority institution. It started with Commerce stream and gradually has also added Arts and Science streams to Junior College course. The Motto of the college is “VidyaVinayenaShobhate” (Knowledge is enhanced by Humility alone). The Mission is “Empowerment through Value-Based Education”.
