An opening for a Accountant in Ooty, Tamil Nadu at Hebron School. The school is expanding its team for the new session and welcomes both experienced and high-potential candidates. The school believes a strong campus is built on its teachers and works to be a place where faculty want to stay. Day to day, you will:
- Process the assigned transactions, approvals, and documentation on time.

- Comfort with MS Office, Google Workspace, and ERP applications.
- Professional written and spoken English (and Hindi where applicable).
- A service mindset with parents, students, and faculty. Benefits and culture:
- Salary in line with experience and market norms (₹3.4 LPA – ₹5.5 LPA).
- Structured calendar with reasonable workload expectations.
- Professional development through workshops and internal training.
- A collaborative staff culture with clear leadership backing.
- Stable, full-time employment at a settled school. Submit your application on this page and Hebron School will weigh your candidacy for the opening. Next steps usually include a short demo class and a panel discussion.
Common questions about this role
What's the interview process like for this role?
Expect a screening call → a practical/skills round (role-specific) → a final interview with the relevant department head. Carry valid ID, references and any certifications.
Is the salary CTC or in-hand?
Schools quote CTC by default. In-hand depends on PF (12% employee share), professional tax, and your tax slab — ask HR for a sample salary structure before accepting.
Which curriculum does the school follow?
Hebron School follows the Cambridge / IGCSE curriculum, so teaching, assessment and reporting align to that framework.
Is this a remote / work-from-home opportunity?
School roles are on-site by default — classroom teaching and student supervision require physical presence. Online tutoring openings are tagged separately on School Jobs India.
How long does it take to hear back after applying?
Schools usually shortlist within a week or two. Set up a job alert for similar roles so you don't miss the next match if this one doesn't move forward.
