Role: Transport Coordinator

We are hiring an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our team for the upcoming academic session. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CISCE curriculum, mentor students, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet curriculum standards and engage every learner
  • Assess, record and report on student progress using both formative and summative tools
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership
  • Participate in CCAs, parent–teacher meetings and professional-development sessions

Qualifications

  • Post-graduate / graduate degree in the relevant subject
  • B.Ed. (or equivalent teaching qualification) preferred
  • Prior teaching experience in a reputable school
  • Strong communication and classroom-management skills
  • Comfortable with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms

About St. Joseph's Boys' High School

<p>We are a Jesuit school that follows the educational principles of the Jesuit fathers and is reflected in the school motto &ldquo;Fide et Labore&rdquo; (faith and effort). The school is located on an 8 acre campus right in the heart of downtown Bangalore. Over the past decade, old blue-gray stone buildings have given way to a taller building to accommodate the increasing number of levels offered at the school from kindergarten to 12 noon. The school has just over 3,500 students and they are supported and cared for by 150 qualified and experienced teachers and other assistants, many of whom have spent most of their careers at the school. We regularly hold training workshops and seminars for our teachers to better equip them in their role.</p>
