Role: School Counselor

We are hiring an experienced School Counselor to join our team for the upcoming academic session. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CISCE curriculum, mentor students, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet curriculum standards and engage every learner
  • Assess, record and report on student progress using both formative and summative tools
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership
  • Participate in CCAs, parent–teacher meetings and professional-development sessions

Qualifications

  • Post-graduate / graduate degree in the relevant subject
  • B.Ed. (or equivalent teaching qualification) preferred
  • Prior teaching experience in a reputable school
  • Strong communication and classroom-management skills
  • Comfortable with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms

About St. Pauls Mission School

<p style="text-align-removed:justify">St. Paul&#39;&#39;s Mission School, an Anglo Indian Christian Missionary School, was started by the women members of St. Paul&#39;&#39;s Cathedral, Kolkata. In 1884 the foundation stone of the school was laid at 5, Scott Lane, Kolkata 700009, by the Lady Carmichael. The school today is owned and controlled by the Diocese of Calcutta, Church of North India, headed by the Rt. Rev. Paritosh Canning, Bishop of Calcutta and Chairman of the Board of Governors. Mrs. Sanchita Biwas is the Principal and the Honorary Secretary, and Mr. Sudeb Bose is the Vice Principal. The school is a large, modern and well equipped co-educational institution catering to students from Nursery to Class XII.</p>
