About the school: Bidya Bharati School (an English Medium School) was established on 2nd November 1965 by Vidya Bharati Society for Educational and Scientific Advancement, a registered Society under the West Bengal Society’s Registration Act, having its registered office at 44/2, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata – 700027. The primary objective of the Society was to establish an Institution of repute which will provide a well oriented Education system to the girls of Kolkata and its suburbs. The school which started with 5 students soon blossomed into a full fledged school getting its affiliation from Board of Secondary Education, West Bengal. The first Batch of students for the School Final Examination appeared in 1970. The school has grown from its infancy to its present status and Glory under the tender care and devotion of the dedicated staff. The school today has under its fold 4500 students in 3 units.
