About the role
St Francis English School in Paharpur, Raghopur, Vaishali, a residential school in Vaishali, is looking for a Computer Operator who can handle the school's day-to-day software and administrative computer work, and also teach basic computers to our junior classes. This is a full-time, on-campus position with free food and accommodation provided on campus.
Key responsibilities • Operate and maintain the school management software (ERP) edunodex.in — student admissions, attendance, fee entries, report cards, transfer certificates and ID cards. • Maintain student, staff, hostel and academic records accurately; take regular data backups. • Prepare letters, circulars, notices, timetables and result sheets in MS Word and Excel. • Handle email correspondence, online forms and board-related data uploads as required. • Provide basic IT support — printers, projectors, smart boards, internet issues and routine troubleshooting in the computer lab. • Teach Computer Science / IT periods to junior classes (Grades I–V) as per the school timetable, using the prescribed syllabus. • Manage the computer lab: software installation, lab discipline and upkeep of systems. • Support occasional hostel/campus duties as assigned, in keeping with a residential school setting.
Requirements • Graduate in any stream; a computer diploma (DCA / PGDCA / BCA / O-Level) is preferred. • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email and internet. • Hands-on experience with school ERP or similar data-entry software is an advantage. • Good typing speed and accuracy, with an eye for detail. • Comfortable teaching young children; patient, friendly and well-organised. • Ability to communicate in English and Hindi. • Willing to stay on campus at a residential school. • Freshers with strong computer skills may also apply.
