The students of surrounding rural areas were deprived of higher education due to lack of colleges in the nearby areas. Having realised the social responsibilities to bridge the gap in offering continuous education to the rural students, during the year 2003, Pride Group of Institution started Diploma and PG Diploma in Power electronics distance education centre and an Independent Pre-University College recognised in the year 2004, recognised by Govt. of Karnataka, starting with Arts course. Commerce Course is added during 2007.
