Vidyasthali Kanar Inter College is a co-educational, English-medium school situated at Kanar, a village in Malihabad, 32 kilometers away from Lucknow. It was established in 2005 by Study Hall Educational Foundation (SHEF) with the goal of providing affordable but high-quality education to rural children. It started with 84 children from nearby villages but quickly rose to cover 55 villages in a 25-km radius.
