GMS has been ranked as one of the largest group in terms of number of schools and students. The academy currently has 60 schools with a combined student population of approximately 45,000+. The founder chairman, Mr. Venkatanarayana is a post graduate in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University. With a teaching experience of 30 years at various levels, he is at the helm of operations at Gowtham. With his vast experience in primary, high school and junior college segment, he initiated quality education at an affordable price by starting a Junior College in Vijayawada in 1984. With a positive response from the students’ and parents’ community, the group expanded in Hyderabad in 1998 and to other parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. With 60 schools having 45,000 students, Mr. Venkatanarayana has been the crucial member of the growth plan, envisioned.
