New Model English High School at Chembur was started in 1970 with as many as twelve tinytots from the near by areas in a small garage near chmebur Railway Station. The founder of this blessed educational institution is Prof. D.K.Kunder . As a prof. D. K Kunder’s dedication , devotion , determination , discipline and due to the profound backing of Janata shikshan kendra and the staff, the strength of the best school in Chembur East increased to nearly hundred within two years, so a full fledged school was started in 1973 with the recognition of Maharashtra Government (un aided basis) in the Shrama Safalya building near chembur railway station.
