Sainik School

Welcome To Sainik School Mainpuri Sainik School Mainpuri was raised as the 30th Sainik School of India and the first Sainik School of Uttar Pradesh under the aegis of Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi. The main aim of the school is to prepare cadets mentally and physically for their entry into the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. It is a fully residential institution for both boys and girls and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Admissions are offered exclusively to students entering Classes VI and IX. The overall functioning of the school is monitored by a Local Board of Administration, which ensures the effective implementation of policies framed by the Board of Governors. The General Officer Commanding, Madhya U.P. Sub Area, Lucknow, serves as the Chairman of this board.
