About
"I am a internationally trained, degree qualified Psychotherapist, Mental Health Counsellor and Child & Family Therapist with 5+ years’ experience supporting children and adolescents through trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming counselling, emotional regulation, wellbeing and early intervention across community, educational, government, NFP settings in Australia and now in India."
Teaching methodology
I use a child-centred, trauma-informed and experiential approach, adapting activities to students’ developmental, emotional and individual needs. I use play, creative and expressive therapies, psychoeducation, discussion, reflection and practical activities to make learning meaningful and accessible. I scaffold skills gradually, encourage curiosity and self-awareness, and create psychologically safe spaces where students can participate without fear of judgment.
Results & impact
- I support students to develop emotional literacy, self-regulation, resilience, social skills, confidence and healthy relationships. My experience includes supporting children with complex trauma and developmental needs, early intervention for children aged 3–5 years, behaviour support and socio-emotional wellbeing. I also facilitate therapeutic groups that build coping skills, emotional expression and parent-child relationships.
