Teaching methodology
Teaching Methodology
I follow a student-centred, interactive and concept-based teaching approach, focusing on clear understanding rather than rote learning.
• Concept-Based Learning: Explain complex topics through simple language, real-life examples, stories, and relatable situations.
• Interactive Classroom: Encourage questioning, discussion, participation, presentations, and two-way communication.
• Differentiated Teaching: Adapt teaching strategies according to students’ learning levels, abilities, and individual needs.
• English & Language Development: Strengthen grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and communication skills through practical activities.
• SST & Humanities Approach: Connect History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, and other Humanities subjects with current affairs, everyday life, maps, timelines, case studies, and critical discussion.
• Activity & Experiential Learning: Use worksheets, mind maps, visual aids, projects, debates, quizzes, role-play, and collaborative activities to make learning engaging.
• Assessment & Feedback: Use regular questioning, classwork, tests, assignments, and revision activities to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Remedial Support: Identify learning gaps and provide additional explanation, practice, and personalised support to help students improve.
• Exam-Oriented Preparation: Combine conceptual understanding with structured revision, answer-writing practice, important-question analysis, and time-management strategies.
• Positive Classroom Management: Maintain discipline through clear expectations, respectful communication, encouragement, and active student engagement.
Core Approach: Understand → Explain → Engage → Practise → Assess → Improve.
