Deeksha High School

Deeksha High School offers a holistic approach to education where each child is unique and the emphasis is on their intellectual, social, physical and emotional development. Its innovative and specialised curriculum fosters independent thinking and reasoning skills at a very young age. The environment moulds them into active learners with good social and communication skills.The Founder President of the school, Dr.T.V Ramakrishna, obtained his degree in civil engineering from UVCE Bangalore. During the 1960s, Dr. Ramakrishna immigrated to the United States where he earned his Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati. He later settled in Charleston, West Virginia, where he worked for the West Virginia Department of Highways and eventually became Director of Research. After decades of service to the state of West Virginia, Dr. Ramakrishna and his wife, Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Ramakrishna, made the decision to return to Bangalore and dedicate their lives to children in need.
