About Shakuntala Devi Public School
Shakuntala Devi Public School came into existence on 2 March 28, 2000, by the efforts of SINGLA LOK KALYAN SAMITI to spread quality education among the middle class society of Swaroop Nagar Delhi.The area was in dire need of such institutions. The Founder had firm belief that no other way could depict his concern for fellow human being than an educational institution. Under the guidance of chairman Mr. Jagmal Singh the school is emerging as one of the leading schools in the area. With a band of qualified and enthusiastic teachers, the school has led from one milestone to another over a decade when a dream was born. SDPS celebrated ten years of its existence in 2010. Beginning with a humble numbers of 250 students and 8 teachers, the school has come a long way.
