About the school: In the history, city like Kalyan which is in the Thane district. Late Mrs. Indumati Deodhar started a nursery named ‘Matrumandir’. The intention to create educated well cultured, well mannered student and also to inculcate good virtues in their mind. And now in Kalyan this Mandir has transferred into a huge banyan tree in the form of “Balak Mandir Sanstha”. Today in Kalyan there are 3 Marathi medium as well as three Eng. medium schools which are well equipped with educational aids.
