Job Description – Primary Mathematics Teacher
Position: Primary Mathematics Teacher Location: Orchids International School
Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for primary-grade students. Build students' conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills through interactive teaching methods. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials aligned with the curriculum. Assess student performance, maintain academic records, and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment. Use innovative teaching strategies and technology to enhance student learning. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and training programs. Encourage logical thinking and develop students' confidence in Mathematics. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./B.A. Mathematics) with B.Ed. (mandatory). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Primary Mathematics. Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills. Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and basic computer applications.
