About South Academy High School

South Academy High School founded by Smt. Gayatri Bhattacharjee in 1988, stands at a prominent location just 7 minutes walking distance from Master Da Suryasen metrostation, Bansdroni, . The beautiful building and safe and secure atmosphere make it an ideal place to spend the better part of your childhood. The school teaches from the pre-primary level to the Secondary (10) and is affiliated under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education . The medium of instruction is English though Bengali, Hindi and English are taught as first languages. Pre-primary, Primary, and Secondary section starts class at the same time in the morning five-days a week with the first two sections having an earlier finish than the rest. The Pre-Primary and Primary section follows ICSE and CBSE curriculum which is tailor made to suite the need of the hour and actively encourage students to read books that are out of their academic syllabus.
