The Elisabeth Gauba School

The School is a living example of the dedication and hard work of Mrs. Gauba who devoted her whole life to the cause of children’s education. She had a great vision of creating a separate world for children abounding in beauty and peaceful coexistence. Although she has passed into eternal sleep but she lives on in Shiv Niketan and through all her “children”. It is a school that does not believe in rigid structuring of classes. The development of each child as an individual and the flourishing of their personalities is our primary concern. The School, therefor, seeks to use teaching towards helping each child to grow and mature intellectually and spiritually at their own pace and give expression to their creative urges. It is not surprising, therefore, that learning is a joyful and creative experience for our students.
