How does KVS teacher recruitment work?

KVS teacher recruitment is a national-level hiring process conducted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, typically once every 2–4 years. Selection is through a written exam (CBT), followed by an interview for PGT posts and a demonstration lesson for TGT and PRT posts. Clearing CTET Paper 1 (for PRT) or Paper 2 (for TGT) is mandatory before applying.
