What are the eligibility criteria for KVS teacher recruitment?
To apply for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) teacher recruitment, you need the relevant subject degree (Graduate for PRT/TGT, Post-Graduate for PGT), a B.Ed, a valid CTET (Paper I for PRT, Paper II for TGT, or PGT-CTET where applicable), and age must generally be under 30 (PRT/TGT) or 40 (PGT), with government relaxations.
KVS follows NCTE norms plus its own service-rule additions.

- TGT: Graduation in the concerned subject (50%+) + B.Ed, plus CTET Paper II, age ≤35.
- PGT: Master's in the subject (50%+) + B.Ed, age ≤40. CTET is required for PGT-level positions when notified.
Additional requirements
- Hindi and English proficiency for both PRT and TGT.
- Computer literacy (basic).
- Preference for candidates trained in inclusive education.
