About St. Pauls Co-Ed School

St. Paul's Co-Ed school, affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, is one of the largest network of educational institutes run by CMI Fathers all over India, especially in the southern states. The CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) Congregation was founded by Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara in Kerala in 1831. St. Chavara was a man of God, who could see beyond his times, and visualize a society based on the values of love, equality, justice and brotherhood. St. Chavara's educational initiatives were monumental. The Sanskrit School that he started at Mannanam in Kerala in the late forties of 19th Cent was a daring and significant step in his life. It was one of his conscientious attempts to revive the ancient language.
