Who hires home tutors, and why
Indian parents hire home tutors for four main reasons: (a) their child is falling behind and needs remedial 1:1 time, (b) they're prepping for a board year (Class 10, 12), (c) they're prepping for entrance exams (JEE, NEET, CUET, boards), or (d) the child is switching boards (State to CBSE, CBSE to IB).
