Bharat Academy Sciences

Bharat Academy & Sciences was established in 2003 under the aegis of ULUBERIA RURAL SOCIETY FOR CARE OF HEALTH & RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT (URSCHARD). The Society was formed in 1995 with the objective of improving the quality of human lives through social and community welfare projects with special emphasis on imparting quality education. The founder of the Trust/Society Prof.(Dr.) Rabindra Debnath, an educationist par excellence believes that there is no greater joy than “giving back to the community” and he resolved to start an educational hub in Uluberia, where the inhabitants did not have proper facilities catering to the educational needs of their children. URSCHARD is a philanthropic organization which from its inception has undertaken various welfare projects & Bharat Academy & Sciences is a step towards illuminating the lives of a multitude by bringing quality education to their doorstep.
