As a PGT Hindi Literature applicant, my teaching methodology focuses on bridging classical literary appreciation with modern analytical skills required for senior secondary students. I employ Inquiry-Based Learning to help students analyze deep psychological, social, and cultural themes in poetry and prose (such as Bhakti-kaal, Reeti-kaal, and modern fiction), moving them beyond simple rote memorization to High-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). I integrate the Flipped Classroom Model by assigning background readings on authors and historical contexts as homework, maximizing classroom time for critical debates, essay writing, and character analysis. To balance academic diversity, I use Differentiated Instruction, providing tiered assignments that support average learners while challenging advanced students targeting competitive exams. Additionally, I utilize digital tools, audio-visual adaptations of classic texts, and creative writing workshops to make Hindi vocabulary, grammar, and literature highly engaging and relevant to 21st-century students."
