Teaching methodology
Being a teacher myself I have experienced that teaching methods need constant upgradation as world is now focussing on the practical knowledge than the standard book learning. Innovation in Geography is crucial and integral with the inclusion of GIS and Remote Sensing in curriculum. I have the vision that one day geographers take a lead in Geospatial Technology and for that making them GIS software savvy will be my key agenda, because engineers are invading this area more than the geographers. Field visits and using of the GPS will be one more crucial aspect of my teaching.
